I've junked the naff "Honda" badges and retained the "S2000" badges on the sides. It makes the wings (fenders...) look longer. If I ever get to work out how to post pictures, I will!

Ever since I put Rick's Badges on, front and rear, I have been playing with the idea of taking the S2000 off.

I like the S2000, however the Silver is just so strong with my yellow badges.

Here is an idea for Rick.

Make S2000 emblems in the same material you use for the badges, it would be easier to clean and if you made them in different colors people could really play with alternetives. ie.. red S2000 on White car, get it?

Just spend a few hours removing the side badges. Used a strong fish line instead of the dental floss ( it kept breaking). And lots of WD40 and a hard plastic edge wrapped in soft cloth to remove adhesive stuck on the car. I stepped back and admired the clean lines and my brand new mysteritous ride.

A great idea, and if we ever get license from Honda (AHM) to use the logo, we'll do it. Otherwise, this is a copyright violation, and we can't do it.

We put a license application in last spring and AHM hasn't even given the courtesy of a reply, it's sad to say. Sometimes I think large American corporations, AHM included, are doing their very best to imitate the Internal Revenue Service. Actually, these days, the IRS is often more friendly and considerate

I've removed mine an I like the clean look. I also think the clean look looks better with the clear side markers instead of the amber.

I forgot to state on my removal process that the front H badge had to be broken off from the pins. Must be a theft deterrent because there are no squeeze pins under the hood for EZ removal. I have one of the last production run of the 2002's.
