Default Removing Dealer Tag

Can someone give me a quick hint on removing the dealer tag? This is on my new used (3000k mi, not that used) '01 S2000. I intended to have it removed at the dealer, and I mentioned it, but I was shocked when the point man on the deal went to grab it with his hands, as if to test how solidly it was attached. Instead of letting him yank on it I interrupted him and said it was no big deal.

So now I want to remove the ugly thing.

Simple:

Get your self some dental-floss...and slowly work it under the object, 'sawing' back and forth... you may break the dental-floss a few times, but it will cut through it. Follow up with your favorite brand of "Bug and Tar" remover.... And top it off by waxing(Zainoing) the new surface area.

Thank you for the information. Something to do this weekend.

Hope it's sunny tomorrow. Today it's been drizzly and icky.

You should also try to heat it up with a blow dryer or letting it sit under the sun first.

I didn't know that any CA dealers did that. I thought it was more of a midwest thing. I think it is tacky. Sometimes they're on crooked as well.

It might be funny, however, to make a "dealer tag" that said something rude.

Funny story for you, I told my dealer not to even think about it, well they had a dumb ass attack and stuck one on. Now I'm not a professional but I have heated them up with a hair dryer and removed them, but these experts decided to removed it along with the paint on my bumper. So my S had 70 miles on it, and the bumper needed repainting

Too easy! The floss worked like a charm. The remaining adhesive just peeled off and I cleaned up the area bit. Also picked up some Zaino today, so I'm ready to rock. (The car needs a wash and a wax, it's covered with waterspots from earlier this week).

Thanks for the advice, guys.

Green Marine; Two questions

Did you pick up some zaino at a store? If so, tell me where, maybe there's a store where I am.

Water spots from earlier this week (tisk tisk), you need to wash it more often buddy.
