I have a silverstone that I recently repainted a custom color that was close to silverstone. This allowed me to repaint the outside of the car without the extra cost of repainting the door sills trunk and engine bay.
I went with the standard silverstone paint code and then added a blue pearl to it. it darkened the color a little but in the sun and certain lighting the car looks fantastic. I have yet to capture the way it looks in real life in a photo.
If I had the time and money to repaint mine, I'd repaint it Green.
Not lime green, not dark green, ot neon green, not forest green, not metallic green, not British Racing green. Just green. Like the green counterpart to Ferarri Red. Like the crayon whose paper label says nothing but "GREEN" on it. Like nothing you'd ever find on a minivan or SUV. Maybe, just maybe, like a green counterpart to Rio Yellow Pearl.
You never see anything like it on the roads except maybe on the occasional tractor-trailer. Definitely nothing like it on a sports car.
Against the black trim of the car and possible with white wheels, I personally think it would look awesome.
these pics do not show up as much different than silverstone
Like I said, under the right lights and in more direct sun it looks very different in person. My camera is OK and it was an overcast day. In the last pic, the flash is showing just a little of the pearl ( makes it a cooler color of gray from afar)
