Default repairing ding and windshield crack question.

so, i have a ding ( maybe i should say small dent) and a crack on my windshield.
And im just wondering whether i should get those fixed at dent wizard and car window professional place or detail shop next to my house.

Detail shop told me they can do both of them at only $75 and they are located right in front of lamborgini dealer and i saw them doing a lot of ferrari and lambo detail job.

In the other hand, window professional place quote me $45 for crack fix and i don't know how much dent wizard would charge but people told me around $50.

What do you guys think? have you guys ever fixed dent or crack in detail shop??

should i be expecting better result from professional places or detail shop would do samething??

thanks in advance.

I have never had my windshield fixed, but I have had dents removed. I have always went with the guy with the most experience when it came to dent removal. They usually insert a special rod behind the panel and pop out the dent and if you get someone who is not as experienced, they may over pop out the dent, then you are left with a pimple in the metal, and once it is creased, it can look bad. The more experienced guys that have worked with more cars will be able to tell how thick the aluminum is and use good judgement while removing the dent.
I say if the guys work on farraris and they have all of the proper equipment and are licensed and bonded and do good business, go with them.

Your windshield crack will grow fast and re-act to the temperature changes. Its not safe for you to drive anyway. Get it fixed right away. In most states, windshield are covered by your insurance company without deductible. You may want to check with your insurance company. At least when I was living in FL, the windshield was covered.

I think $75 for both is reasonable.
