blau-blau,

I think you meant you can't change the end witout damaging it. From the x-ray, it looks like the key is one piece. Tehre is no way you can just swap the end off without cutting the key in half.

If you could remove the plastic with harming the chip, then you could put the chip in the new revised key. If you destroy the chip in removing the plastic, you then have a problem.

Not unless you replace the ECU. It looks for the correct chip and if it's not present, it will not start.

You know, if there's no chip inside the key, why the hell did they make it????? The only way for it to work is to replace the ECU and the key at the same time. That's fine for some people, but I like having the immobilizer for security.

I thought there was a way to program an extra key into the ECU. Wasn't there instructions in the factory alarm manual for this? Or was it just a way to program another remote?

i have after market immobilizer already,,,,,

is there any way i can program another key like restark said?
