Ordered last night. Supposedly it's made to order (6-9 days I believe) and then shipped. After that, I have to build up the courage to actually start tearing my poor car apart :/
Think of it more as taking off her cloths.

Lol, I just ordered mine yesterday too 3-9 days to make and 2-6 days to ship so it'll be 5-15 business days till I get it. I'll be having it installed by a local soft top installer though

how much did they quote you? according to what I've read, it is almost 10 hours to replace. even at a cheap shop, that's a lot of ching to have them replace it.

yep, my research pointed at 10+ hours for a first timer so even though i'm quite mechanically inclined, my laziness took over so i'm outsourcing. i've researched that people pay around 400, but the local guy is only charging 200, which is more reasonable since a guy who's done it many times should only take about 4-5 hours to do the swap.

Yeah, he told me the same thin and then followed it up by saying he only stocks the cloth lol, so it's not like we have a choice. Or did he tell you differently

Well he told me that they only stock cloth tops, and the vinyl tops are built as ordered, which explains the delay. He told me that he could send the cloth right away and it would only be shipping that I would have to wait for.

But he also said that the S2000 came with cloth tops AND vinyl tops, which I've never heard. I'm just going to wait for the vinyl top since thats whats on my car anyways and the cloth is like $50 more.

Hmm, well he never told me that and I just bought the 415 top and he hasn't contacted me with any other questions so I guess I got the vinyl?
