I have a test pipe, and I love it. The sound is better, and a nice weight savings. VTEC transition seemed to get smoother for me also.

Why disappointed? He just saved you some $$$ that you should spend on something useful.

But i thought this would give the car a couple more hp.
Why? The stock exhaust path is properly optomised out of the box.

basically a "straight pipe" if you will that eliminates the Catalytic Convertor.. instead of a Cat.. in the place is just bolted up a pipe with nothing inside... Very big gains on Turboed cars etc... but usually a NT car wont get ANY power and may even lose some because of loss of backpressure etc.
