did you guys notice how yogi addressed my problem nicely and then proceeded with the topic on hand? he didn't bash on me and let it stay at that. i even apologized. oh and did you notice how i responded with respect to him due to the way he approached me? ppl on these boards are JACKASSEs and dont realize it or some due and when the person responds rudely to the comments of others the jackass's are surprised adn get mad.

Okay, it sounded like you checked your oil, where was the level indicator at? When/what mileage was the last time you changed your oil/filter?

i bought the car with 5800 miles on it, it now has 8500 miles on it. soon due ot a change. i can't recall but i will check it and let you know.

So between 5800 and 8500 miles, you didn't change the oil, and it was never checked? Yes, check it now, and tell us the level.

quick question tho, if this was the problem or soemthing else wouldn't it happen gradually and not all of a sudden in ONE day?

ok, there was oil up to the second X i believe it looked like from the TOP and on the bottom of the stick the oil was like a drop type of appearance as in it looked like there was a lot on that part but the part where it was about up to the second X from the top, it looked like it just touched oil and the color was like ugly brown.
