Arrow Resonatorectomy Done Today

Today I was able to get my resonatorectomy done. It sounded great at first as the praised aggressive tone was more pronounced than before. However, as the day passed, I began to hear a rasp in the exhaust. Moments ago, I left a friends house and noticed it began to rasp horribly. I could hear the rasp inside the cabin with the top/windows up. To those who have had a resonatorectomy done: Is there an existing rasp?

Other stuff that may matter:

I checked the welds just a few minutes ago and they seemed to be fine, but it IS dark outside so I can't see jack squat. We'll see in the morning.

The resonator was cut off and was replaced with a pipe of the same size which had flared ends if that makes a difference.

There shouldn't be a rasp... the sound at WOT can be a bit metalic at some RPM ranges, but that's about it. If there is even the smallest weld leaking, that could be your problem. I'd take it back and have them look at it.

So far I can hear rasps around the 3k-5k ranges. Is this where it normally rasps?

I'm about to bring it to the shop in about 30 minutes, if anyone has input, feel free to share.

Do you have a after market exhaust? How did you make your car sound like 350Z?

I brought it back by the place and they said it was not leaking. They did not put the car on a lift, since there was already a car on there. A quick peep under the car cannot determine a leak. I'm taking it elsewhere tomorrow.

Also, I've noticed it rasps like crazy after the car has cooled some.
