sorry, but i don't see why they would pay for any portion of a retrofit. there are plenty of convertibles out there (luxury, economy, sporty) that have plastic rear windows. all of which have the same symptoms of fogging and creasing as you describe. it's not a fault in design, it's a standard that people have grown to accept. like any window, it requires care (in this case moreso than other windows).
please don't think i don't feel bad for you folks with plastic rear windows, but if your expecting Honda to pay for this, then you're in for some disappointment. rather than asking for a retrofit, i'd suggest asking for a 2000-2001 S2000 owners discount on a hardtop.
