Owners with plastic rear windows were requested to write (or copy the sample letter) to 4 different officials in the Honda organization requesting they work with us on sharing the cost of the retrofit convertible top with the glass rear window. I would point you to the thread but search is down.

Yep, standard corporate brushoff. Why am I not surprised?

sorry, but i don't see why they would pay for any portion of a retrofit. there are plenty of convertibles out there (luxury, economy, sporty) that have plastic rear windows. all of which have the same symptoms of fogging and creasing as you describe. it's not a fault in design, it's a standard that people have grown to accept. like any window, it requires care (in this case moreso than other windows).

please don't think i don't feel bad for you folks with plastic rear windows, but if your expecting Honda to pay for this, then you're in for some disappointment. rather than asking for a retrofit, i'd suggest asking for a 2000-2001 S2000 owners discount on a hardtop.
