Sorry Shingles. Nothing worse than getting a new go-fast part and its gains are not what you expected.

You saved me a nice chunk of change! Everybody who was sold on the DC unit should send you a check for $10 for being the 1st to buy the product and dyno

Once again, thanks and sorry!

Hey, it is a beautiful piece of gear, you saved some weight, and it does not loose any power.. and we have all have evenings that cost more and were more disappointing. I'd call it a win!

Shing,

I still haven't received mine yet from Dynojet! Apparently they took down the wrong zip code for my city. But, I should be receiving mine in a few days. After hearing about these results I'm a little bummed. But we'll see how things are when I get them installed. I'll take it with a grain of salt and how cdelena described it.

Even the folks at Mugen said how hard it was to get any greater performance out of a header. They really had to work to get the gains that they did. Remember, lots of people have lost power with exhaust and header changes so at least you didn't lose anything.

Oh yeah, I don't think that it was a complete lose. I mean it's lighter by 10+lbs, it's didn't lose power, and it did make something in about 1500rpm range.

I was hoping that someone else could verify my tests though. Just to make sure this was true and that we are not falsely accusing anything one of anything that may or may not be true.

I think I need to go get me a copy of this month's SCC... I want to buy a dynapack... serious.

Ha, I hear the dynopack will get you 5 HP out of those headers...might be worth the money.

For those curious, Dynopack (there is another on the other side):

ok guys, i just finished talking with DC's rep. they're going to try and arrange a third party dynojet session with back to back dyno charts (stock and DC header) over at Dynamic's dyno facility. i hope to see DC's dyno results soon.

Good good. This should help clear things up.

One of the reasons I was suprised at the result was I felt that there was definately a gain. yeah yeah, butt dyno, I don't go with butt dyno unless it's significant enough. So this should help clear things up and make sure it's not a fluke.

I will say that I am going to drive the car a few more miles and put her back on the dyno again as well.
