I am glad we don't need front plates in GA either. I thought I was going to see one for the back though...

Bastard you have the same car combo I hope to have in 3-4 years .
I will be getting a 96-99 red gts and then will be doing some type of force induction (those are the last years the internals were forged). ACR def is a sweet more track version of the viper. Small boost in hp, 50 I believe, but due to the stiffer supension and weight redux is quicker around the track. Also as everyone else sweet gargage. Always wanted a lift.......wait what were we talking about again....OH YEAH nice mod for the front license plate .

pretty nice garage, esp. if you made it yourself it's quite a nifty idea for a license plate bracket.. too bad you gotta be at stock height to avoice ripping it to bits on speed bumps

Well, the Viper is a garage queen. Hooked up to a battery tender, waiting for perfect weather for use. Only 10K miles, and it is detailed inside and out, top and bottom. It really is crude art that I can sstare at, or blast off in. This one is a fairly rare version called the ACR (American Club Racer).... 5pt harnesses,No traction control, no ABS, Adjustable Koni coilovers, a little more power than standard vipers, BBS wheels, etc.....
Brute to drive. Living with it is like having a supermodel girlfriend cause if you lake it out, it's like flashbulbs going off, or if you leave her alone guys are hitting on her.
The S2k is much more fun to drive on a daily basis. It's tighter, nimbler, and more involving. The viper is much more of a "hang on!" ride.
Built the garage myself, just farmed out the concrete, and some framing/truss placing. It'll hold 8 (9 if you leave one up on t lift). 36x36ft. Doing it myself, it cost about the same as an S2k, even with the lift
Cheers.
I don't recall seeing any Vipers every on my way down from Toronto to visit family in Horseheads all those years! I love the ACR! Was out on the baby track at Mosport with one, it was a beast. I kept losing my focus on driving every time I was following it.

Oh lets just all let the thread go off-track, forget the plate holder. We all want the garage and the lift

you should get one for the front and back and make it electronic so you can flip your plates in when you decide to run from the cops

Looks good, the only thing I'd worry is the air stream pulling down and ripping off the tag at high speeds.... This is what happened to my CF air splitters on my front bumper last night

Neat idea bro but a bit unsightly - is your car lowered?

What was the reason you did this mod? To avoid local authorities giving you hassle? So how does it work? You normally drive with the plate exposed or hidden and then when they pull you over you say "let me flip that plate up officer"? hahaha

Not making fun of it but just trying to see your reasoning.....

Some people do not have plates to avoid the law but what was your reason?

I've seen these plates that consist of 8 long verticle triangles that rotate on it's axis - it's all electronic so each time you hit the switch the plate can change to something different! Not sure how legal that would be either and that would involve you having to cut your license plate into vertical strips to glue onto these rotating triangles.

Just move to Indiana where no front place is required!

Really the only reason is vanity...
I have to have a plate to avoid tickets, but I don't always want to look at that "snaggletooth" in my grill. A fellow with your auto resume' should understand covering art, design, and engineering beauty with a dog tag can be and is ugly.
Drive with it exposed, enjoy it closed.

Thanks everybody for the 's, and I received several comments today from some friends. Looks even better in person.
