I am thinking of doing it myself as well, but I do wish there existed a better set of instructions from someone who documented their experience.

I got a price from Jeff (Hardtopguy) at Ganley Honda for a black 02/03 soft top - $792.27 (not including shipping). I believe they are new Site Sponsors - his # is 1-800-342-8158.

cool, thanks. I saw his posts on hardtops, I didn't know he could get all OEM parts. I'll definitely contact him. Yeah, I know what you mean about the lack of instruction thing.

noah2000,
Do you mean that the labor was $300 plus you had to pay for parts? How much was the total cost? Or were you one of the people that had insurance cover most or all the cost?

Guys, the step-by-step instruction is all there if you have a copy
of a Helm's Manual.

I did the install myself following the steps in Helms Manual and
did not have any problems with it but it was just very time
consuming.

noah2000's S2000 was done at the shop that I go to. I stopped
by that weekend and saw noah2000's car there...silver s2000 with blue '02 top.

for anyone who is lazy or do not want to spend 10+ hours doing
this job or do not want to spend $75 to get a copy of helms manual..etc., I can refer you to the shop to do the install. $300 labor (at least $1200+ at Honda dealer)

right now i am going to try to figure out how to wire up this
defroster (w/ the help of Helms) myself and see if it will
work (even though I dont really need the defroster..)

Anybody has a fax number connected to their computer so the
it saves as a picture file? I can fax the instructions over and s/he
can post them up here. (Someone IM'ed me about this but I lost
his/her fax number)

Again, sorry for the super blurry pics, I do not have a scanner.
