Reverse gear lock!
Yesterday, i drove my friend's RSX-S for the first time. I notice that at a certian speed, the reverse gear will lock. You can't move the stick all the way to the right where the reverse gear is at. Therefore, shifting to 5th and 6th gear was easier then the S. At a slow enough speed (around 5 mph or less), it automatically unlocks the reverse gear and u can now move the stick all the way to the right. I own a MY00 S. I was wondering if the newer model S have that same function as the RSX.
Our transmission has a reverse gear lockout also. You simply move the lever over to the right and depress the lever and then move it into the reverse position.
I'm not sure that I would want to try and engage reverse while I'm moving.

Sorry guys.. im kinda wasted right now
(still have to visit this site before i hit the sack). All i want is the set my S so it can be like my friend's rsx-s. I guess the previous owner unlock the reverse gear lockout, i never knew about it, nor that our car had that function till now. So how do i set back the reverse gear lockout again
