The S2K is the winner in the "Best Car for guys Who Are Too Old for a Motorcycle".

That particular photo has been around for awhile. It must belong to some owner who removed the tape. I think it's an '01.

2nd gear in the S2000 reaches 66mph @9000rpm. If you take it to the cut-out then the S2000 can wind to 68mph in the 2nd.

If your purpose it to accelerate as quickly as possible, don't let it hit the limiter. Hitting the limiter will definitely slow you down.

"The snubbed snout that deters from the otherwise uplifting lines of the car"

interesting...WTF is he talking about??? Rather lame article IMO, nothing new said here, just the same copy from late '99.

...Twisty back-country road...
...9000RPM...
...Rifle-bolt shifter...
...no luxo goodies...
...blast to drive...

what did I miss? Same shit, different year. The best piece I've seen so far is the C&D TV clip of the S2000 on the track.

That's the first time I've heard "snubbed snout" used to describe the S2000. And what in the world does "uplifting lines" mean? Maybe he's just spewing jargon to "uplift" his bad sense of aesthetics! Or maybe he's confused it with one of the other cars.
