Default Rick's 7/8 aero screen - evaluation

Have installed my Rick's 7/8 aero screen in smoke color w/ S2000 logo etched .

The install instructions were very good (contrary to some I've encountered w/ other products) and it was not a tough job to do. I worked slowly and carefully and I'd say it took me an hour or so to get the job done.

The screen seems to be quite effective in reducing cabin turbulence and I'm hoping that when I finally get my Rick's headrests delivered and installed that it will be even better.

The one minor gripe I have is that I probably should not have ordered the product in smoke color. It acts as a pretty good "mirror" and when I look in rear view, I can see headlights, etc. of on-coming cars. Very distracting. I'd bet that the clear one would not have that effect.

In summary - I like it. It does the job. It looks good. I was reasonably easy to install.

I had two problems that annoyed me. Definitely not Rick's problem, just my personal opinion:

1. Too much vibration... needed to do a grommet modification before...
2. ...My detailer lowered the top onto it and broke it in half! The bastard didn't even offer to replace it. I haven't gone back since.

Other than these things, thought it was terrific, but an expensive mod for what it is.

Does the new screen still fold down? or is it always up? Do all you you have vibration problems? or just white rocket? Also, on the site thers diff sizes to choose from. stock, the one that goes almost to the top pf the head rest, and one other. And im not sure what that one other is. Is it like half way inbetween the big one and stock? I hope that made since....

How it is different from the full size in term of effectiveness, it is worth the trouble to get the full size instead? anyone know?

I see a reflection with the clear one as well, i wonder how to cure this problem, because at night seeing peoples taillights and such in my mirror is quite distracting

The reflection at night is something you get used to. The only solution is to fold the screen back for night driving.
