....and for this to be perfect, the plugs would be available in the most beautiful of colors (deep burgundy), but alas as usual ... not so... ;(

Hope you guys all got the email update. He's getting them soon and should ship out early next week.

Fellow S2000 Owner,

The manufacturer did not delivery on his promise to have the caps to me by last Friday, but they are in transit to me now and I expect to ship your order early next week.

I apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.

Regards,

Rick

Bump for update from Rick.
Notice they are off your website now.
Hope it works out with the vendor - they would be a great addition to our cars.
Thanks for the great service in the past.

Rick has sent out a number of e-mails to the customers with outstanding orders. Sometimes the e-mails we send end up in your spam folder as they are sent to everyone BCC. Serveral a week if I remember correctly.

Also this is normal for a new S2000 product. Vendor commitments, vendor delays. We have been overwelmed with orders and inturn so was the vendor. That just made it harder to keep up. He has delivered the first batch of KeyCaps and we have shipped a number of them. The first batch was also smaller then expected because of QA issue. There is a percentage of each run that does not measure up and they get tossed.

Also we don't do PM. You can't manage it.

To all other customers, if you are tired of the wait, you can always request that your order is cancelled and a refund issued. It is that simple.

Thanks

In this age of instant gratification, some people have a hard time waiting for things. In this case, it's clear that the anticipation of getting a three nicely painted little plastic circles has people on the edges of their chairs. Never mind that without this opportunity they wouldn't have any way of getting them at all, they want them now, dammit!

So: patience, grasshoppers. Rick's is reputable and they'll come through. New products like this are always something of an adventure first time around -- I've had some cases that fell through completely with other vendors.

Meantime, you can while away the time by prepping your car for these plugs. Get a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol and detail your key holes or something. HPH

Wow all this concern for 3 plastic plugs.

I'm waiting for a set too, but it's far from the most important thing on my list of concerns.
