I have a Red/Black S2K. I've been considering one of Rick's console covers. I've been debating back and forth between solid black and Red on the top and Black on the sides.

Does anyone happen to have a pic of that combo? Red on the top and Black on the sides???

Also what do you guys think about the perforations? Better with or without?

Thanks!

Go with perforated version. They blend in very well with the rest of the interior...Here are some pics of the perf. leather console.

Damn, nvmys2k -- I think you just helped Rick make another sale. I was lukewarm on the console cover until I saw your pic of the perforated cover. It looks even more OEM somehow.

The only place that might look odd is where the perforated elbow rest might meet up with it. Any chance you could get a shot looking back towards the that spot?

Thanks either way!

I went with the solid console cover in black, and after seeing the perf. version, I'm glad I did. For my tastes, it's just too much perforated leather in the interior. I mean, there's just enough, between the seats, the steering wheel, the door panels, and the armrest, such that the addition of a perf. leather console would look over-the-top.

Note that I'm qualifying this as my personal opinion, taste is incredibly subjective. So mod as you see fit, remember, it's _your_ car, you should enjoy driving it!

I went with the solid black non-perforated version too. I also don't like how the perforated version has the tendency to get dirt/junk stuck in the holes. It seems that it would be much harder to keep clean.
