I have just recieved ricks smoked jdm diffuesers today and will be putting them on today. However when the diffusers arrived they came with some kind of oily coating on them. I was wonderig if I should dry them before i put them in or leave it alone since its a protective sealant or something.

 

If you look at the directions from Rick, it explains the cleaning procedure. Use warm soapy water, then make sure they're dry. The warm water will also make it possible to shape them. Have fun! Here are some pics for you:
