Rick's Leather Care Kit?
I need a set of products for cleaning and maintaining the leather in my new car. I was going to order Rick's product, but thought I'd ask YOU, the experts if it was worth the money, or what other alternative kits are out there that are decent. I have 400 miles on my car, and the leather already has wrinkles??????? I don't get it. Thanks fellas!
The wrinkles are normal. Remember, leather is a skin. Many manufacturers process the leather to hide the natural qualities of the leather, and coat it with fillers and the like. When they're finished, it might as well be vinyl.
The wrinkles are nothing to be concerned about -- it's splits in the leather that are a problem and they shouldn't happen for many years.
Our kit was developed by the Leather Care Institute and sold by Townsend Leather, so it's based on extensive knowledge of what works.
