Hello I m new here and I own a 2000 model. I was just wondering if the Ricks console are any good and what color should I get with my red interior S2? I have a hard time deciding between that black and the red leather but I am leaning more toward the black with red stitches, what do you guys think? Thanks

Yes the Ricks leather products are excellent. I don't think you can go wrong with either color but I would suggest looking into the shift boot as well (would help the red stitching stand out), and/or look into two tone combo.

The red looks good with the red interior. The leather matches the stock color damn near perfectly.

I have the leather console on my 01 and it is actually a better leather than what Honda uses. It was a great buy and I coudn't imagine the car without it.

 

The first thing my mom said when she saw the carpet on the center console: "Hmm, that looks cheap."

I have the red/black interior and decided to go with the red leather console cover. A lot more money to spend on a relatively small piece of leather but I must admit that I am very happy with the color, quality, and fit. I agree with the other owner (above) that said to get the shift boot also - You can install both at the same time. That too looks a lot nicer than the cheap boot that comes with the car.

 

I have an '03 and it came with all black interior. I changed it out to be red and black and I have one of Rick's covers. it is red with black sides and black stitching. It looks great.

BTW -- the '02 and '03 covers are vinal from the factory, not leather.
