Rick's Pulley Install DIY?
It more or less is. The pulley for the water pump is almost impossible to replace without an impact wrench. Something like 100 ft/lbs on a free wheeling water pump, is not something you can do with a socket and a breaker bar.

Here's a silly question, what keeps the alternator shaft from spinning while you are using an impact to remove and reinstall the bolt?

My Milwaulkee 18V cordless impact (supposed to be the best) would not take the alt nut off.
Use an air impact gun, LEAVE THE BELT ON, and break it loose. Break the 3 water pump pulley (the biggest pulley in the set) bolts with the belt on as well.
