Default rick's steering wheel badge- thanks rick!!!

finally got the glue to install the steering wheel badge (from home depot)- really no big deal; it only glues down the ring under the badge. i had covered the wheel and seat with towels but still managed to spill some glue on the steering wheel. i can tell from how easy it was to remove that removal of the badge would also be very easy if someone wanted to put the car back to stock. total installation time was under 10 minutes- mainly waiting for glue to set-up and making sure that the badge was perfectly lined up... i was so anxious to install that i did it in the garage at night (very easy install)!!

this badge fits perfectly and the look is awesome... my "s" class honda is now complete!!! thanks rick for another really great product for our cars!

What glue did you buy, bet I'd be going to the same Home Depot as you did.

they had the dap weldwood contact cement that was suggested in another post, but only in quart size... so we got another one made by super glue. VERY IMPORTANT- do not use super glue (the one that dries immediately)!!! but this one is a contact cement made by the super glue company- small bottle, about $2.

i have never used contact cement before, so did not know anything about it. it is similar to rubber cement (stringy), so be careful when applying to the steering wheel (make sure to cover all nearby interior parts), as the "strings" can get on things (they are very easy to remove though). you only need the contact cement for the ring that goes under the badge- the badge is like the wheel badges and has its own adhesive.

you are welcome to borrow my glue if you cant easily find it somewhere!

Yeah that probably WOULD have been a good idea. Sorry about that. I have one around here somewhere. As soon as I find it, I'll post.

I couldn't find my pic but I'm sure Charlie won't mind if I use his pic. He got his put on by Rick at the same time anyway. Plus I think his car is alot cleaner then mine...
