Default Rick's SW badge for AP2

I've searched and searched and only found a DIY for AP1. I just received my SW badge (along with wheel and body badges), but now I'm trying to figure out how to install. From the pic on Ricks' website, it looks like there's an extra black plastic ring around the badge. I emailed Rick this morning, but being holiday season and all, I thought I'd try here as well..

The ap1 steering wheel badges had a black circle...I'm not sure if the ap2s do, aren't yalls a different shape?

Ap1 is circle and AP2 in the honda H shape.
Rick just emailed, and said it just goes over the H badge, no adapter ring like in the ap1's.

I just realized there's 3 different types, ap1, ap2(04-05), and ap2(06+).
The 04-05 is an H badge that is flat, but the 06+ is an actual H emblem that sticks out, just like the OEM H body badges. I don't know if Rick realized that.

I'm having this same problem--anyone with an 06-09 try the Ricks badge on the steering wheel? It doesn't seem like it'll stick well since the "H" emblem is not flat and instead 3D like the H badges on the front and rear of the car

It just goes over the "H" If I have time I can take pics, I have not had any problems with it

so it's OK even though it only contacts the H emblem in a few spots w/ the sticky background?

do you have any pics?
FWIW, I just received an email from Rick saying that the badge won't work for 06-09, even though it's listed otherwise on their website. I think that I still may stick it on there and see how it works, but we'll see

i think there are 4 actually..

1 is discontinued.. it has the S but "2000" at the bottom of the badge. I believe that had to pull the "2000" part out because of trademark rules.
