Default Ricks Voodoo Shift Knob

I am thinking about getting one of these. Does it really make the shift shorter?
Which finish should i get?

Thanks!

I would imagine so but it will also require more force to throw through the gears being as you have a bit less leverage.

Looks really slick with the lowered shifter though.

Yes, it makes the shifter shorter and has helped make my shifts more precise. I got the spun aluminum one and I love it. Looks much better than stock

I like the leather wrapped OEM know. I just wish that it was threaded more so that it sits lower.

I really like the engraving of the shift pattern, it just sucks that the price of engraving is the same price as the knob.....

Is it a lot bigger in your hand than the stock knob?

too bad they dont make the ti ones anymore ..... speaking of which i'm in the market for a full ti shift knob. Could someone give me any recomendations? The only requirement is it has to be titanium and countersunk. So far it seems that the only ones i'm leaning toward are spoon's and the T1R knob but i'm not sure if they're countersunk knobs.
