Default Ride height

i've got coilovers and drop is ~1"-1.2".

it looks nice indeed but i'm scratching car's bottom here and there and too many "pavement ramps" cant be taken anymore because i hit them with front bumper.

Yeah you may have to raise it a little bit. I would love to lower mine more, but even with a 0.8" drop (i'm on Tanabe GF210 springs with OEM shocks) I still scrape on my driveway when leaving everyday. It sucks but that is just how it is.

Ohh and I have no idea how people could drive with a 2" drop. In my town it would destroy the car in no time, or you would be going 2mph everywhere, and would have to put ramps in your driveway.

My drop is about 2" front maybe 1.5 rear or so. I scrape on speed bumps and stuff but able to go around normal driving just fine. Gonna lower the rear to even it out shortly.
All depends on your road conditions and driveway is pretty key too. Mine is fine for a lowered car even though it is gravel. If it is too much of a pain I would just raise it up to not have to worry about it anymore.

I'm right at a 1" drop and have no desire to go lower.

all depends where you live...but what you might be scraping is the plastic pieces in front of each wheel...this is def. the lowest car i've owned. the whole chassis sits really low so you can't lower the car too much. i can't even get into this backyard parking space we have..cause the whole frame would rub against cement.

i'm running a 1 finger gap all around and don't really have any issues. Just have to know your approach/exit angles.

The worst part about being low is scalping road kill...

sounds like you need to learn how to drive a lowered car.
