Default Ride seems too harsh after Eibach installation, ideas?

I'm surprised how rough my ride is because the Eibach Pro-Kit on my civic rode great and was even a lower drop (1.5"). I have been told by several other people with these springs that the ride was hardly different than stock. However, the car feels like it has zero suspension, and even rubs on some potholes/bumps in the front.

I installed the springs with the help of my cousin who is a professional mechanic and I know we did them correctly. I'm just curious where to go from here. Should I get a different spring, or buy some coilovers? I want to fix it and keep the same ride height, but can't afford to spend a lot.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I made them the same mistake of just getting springs alone. At the very least you should have gotten Koni Yellows. I had Espelirs on my car and the ride was too harsh, and rubbed all day everyday.

Now I am going to go with Teins. I am never EVER going for springs alone, I'm always going to go with the high quality coilovers from now on.

Do you have coilovers now? If so, how do they compare?

Wow - Sorry to hear this!

I just purchased my Eibachs with plans on installing them this weekend. I had heard prior to this that the ride was different, but not bad. Anyone out there that is currently running this setup care to comment? Darkknight?

Sleepy, let me know if yours turn out the same way. Darkknight says his ride was close to stock, but mine definitely is not. I've lowered 2 vehicles before this one, a civic with eibach springs which rides great, and an S-10 with spindles & blocks/leaf springs and the s2k is the worse ride of them all. I'm really disappointed

Are the eibach linear or progressive springs?
