Look on eBay motors---there's a 2008 chicane silver with 15,800 miles at a dealer in Roanoke VA asking $24,995 or best offer and a NFR 2006 with 62k miles in NY asking $16,000 or best offer.
Check out the "completed" listings on eBay and you can see what ones have recently sold for------
for example---
a 2008 with 48k miles just sold for $18,800 at a dealer north of Charlotte,
an 08 GPW with 79k sold for $17k,
an 07 SS with 15k miles went for $23k from a dealer in TN,
and a black 01 with 54k just sold a few days ago for $13,200 in NY by a 72 year old man who was the second owner--he bought it in 2006 with 2900 miles on it--looks mint!
I bought my 05 new on eBay from a dealer in Cape Cod and flew up to pick it up (I'm in Ohio). I sold it on eBay to a guy in NJ a few years later when I bought my 07. It's definitely a place to monitor if you're looking for one.

Why do you want such a low millage s2000 for? These car are made to be driven. You already have a low millage garage queen. If I were I I would spend sub $10k on a ap1 boost it and race and drive the hell out of it and enjoy the car for once.

Less then a year ago I was offered $20k for it with like 50-55k miles...its 06. I had to reject even though I do think it was a great offer.
If I was a buyer, I would definitely overpay for a one with clean Carfax and well maintained car with all paperwork and/or from enthusiast
edit: We have one S in my parking lot....looks like same year and same color as mine. Guy is pretty mature but completely trashes the car. Car has miss-matched tires, was in front and rear accidents and looks like he just bought bumpers from junk yard and mounted himself or something because all colors are off and it looks like shit. I bet he doesnt do any maintenance on it either. I would feel sorry for the next owner if it ever makes it. All he has to do before sale is bring it to bodyshop to mount bumpers properly and paint them.

Just bought my '07 NFR with 7k+ miles on it 2 months ago for $25K. I couldn't be happier. I looked for a year before I found the right one. There are cars out there it just takes patience. I do agree that the asking prices for some of these cars are crazy. Just don't waste your time on those!

Instead of selling your S2000 and buying another, just start driving it 
In stock form it is worth up to $25,000, but good luck finding a better car for the money, especially when you factor in having to pay another round of taxes for another car.

To the OP, sure there are some overpriced S2000s out there, but there are also some fairly priced ones around too. Also keep in mind this car is not going to depreciate nearly as rapidly as a 10 year old German car.

picking up a '07 GPW with red/blk interior with 19,652 miles on it. Paying $26k. Clean title 2 owners one of which was for 4400 miles locally in miami. 2nd owner is 61 yr old and barely drove it in Ft. Laudy. Tried to work him down but was firm on $26k. Car is Mint though and ill be smiling ear to ear on Monday morning.
Can someone PM me about what i need to take to DMV for Title transfer. Do i just need the Title signed to me and ID and insurance? damn place never picks up the phone. Thanks
