Hi all,

To be very honest, I've been hooked since '99. The more I learnt about this phenomenal vehicle, the more it just drew me in. I guess what I feel can only be described as true passion. It's taken me a while to work out the logistics, but I finally picked up an 04 Rio a few days ago. I am 30 years old, single, and live in las Vegas. I am doing well at work (finance) and simply could not hold out any longer (paid $31,800 for mine). I've been visiting this awesome forum for years, literally, and feel like I now have earned the right to jump right in. Holy Cow. I know I don't need to say anything more, because all of you that own know exactly how I feel right now. It has 400+ miles on it in the last four days, and I'm awaiting the obvious . I just really wanted to introduce myself, as I will be an active member here, and also just to let everyone know that I have gained all of my knowledge about this car from all of you. And honestly, it made the difference for me. Here is what I love about my S2K. Handling, balance, lack of a glove-box, top, overall feel, shifter, and pretty much everything else it has and doesn't have. I love it. Perfect car for the price. Enough said.

First order of business was to buy the car, second was to become a member of S2KI.. thanks, you guys.

1. shaved emblems
2. clear corners / sides (or possily smoked)
3. momo knob / boot
4. divided upon tinting
5. before purchase was sure of upgrade to 18"s.. but these wheels are nice!
6. also was sure I'd lower it, but NO WAY now.. it's just right.
