its the color, it happens to all yellow cars and is disgusting.. Dont get me wrong, its a nice color but from experience i would never buy one because of the bug issue. For some reason they are attracted to it like its thier mother..

Maybe look into some sort of coating or wax the repels them?

i always thought NFR was the fastest color? hmmmm

I hate it when I am washing my car and bugs land and die in the soap.

I always try to park my GPW next to a yellow to keep the bugs off MY car.

Kinda like running a stray cat through the house when you've got flees.

Well I guess it is something I am going to have to deal with because everyone knows that Yellow is the fastest color!!!
so true... so true...

Unfortunately, bees are a fact of life for the Elightened Force. Our speedy yellow cars must look like a serious queen bee, because I've seen many the bee try to "mate" with my car. (Frequently while I'm driving!! )

Yellow is one of the few colors that bugs see.

That's why flowers have color, to attract certain bugs. Since not all bugs see the same wavelengths the color makes bug attraction selective.

I can't believe all of you guys don't remember any of your high school science.

Yellow attracts the high pollenator bugs so it makes you more fertile. Don't forget to wear a condom when washing the car or to take your birth control pill if you are a female.

I think it also attracts females in general as the females tend to flock to the yellow cars in a line up. Just watch at your next S2000 meet. You can have a line up of all the colors and the girls will inevitabley congregate near the yellow cars.

I think that's kinda cool!!

I never knew that before till I got one.. I try to hose them off my car today while washing it, but I couldn't keep up!

Never, in my life, have I ever wash and wax my car with this many bugs on it!!!

bugs won't even come inside the car even w/ food inside. That yellow paint must be very sexy...
