Well it looks as if the only "NEW" tops available beside Carbon Fiber are Rio yellow ones...
I own a Spa and I'm contemplating going ahead w/ it. How off are the 2 colors and how will it look?

If I have too I'll paint it someday soon, but until I did...

It'd be very noticeable. And it'd look off in my opinion.

 

Yep very noticeable... mine was the Spa, then when I got in a wreck, they couldn't match it and when I got it back it was Rio Yellow... you could open the door and gas cap and just about everywhere and see the color difference, I had to take it to get re-painted...

They kept it Rio which I like so much better than the Spa...

I guess you could try to find a used one... good luck.

Are you sure that after pic is Rio??? They actually both look Spa to me, but you'd know best.


I think the colors are way off and it'd look very tacky. I think a Berlina top would be best. Wasn't someone selling a Spa top in the Bay Area for $1800??

 

i think the hardtop is still up for sale. i went to take a look at it and its in great condition.

Well, it's a custom concoction of the local Honda dealership's... it has a LOT more sparkle to it and it's a brighter yellow, less green is what ppl tell me (I'm red/green colorblind). That second pic really doesn't do the yellow justice, everything turned out kinda dull in it, but that's the only pic I had at the time... A ton of people have seen it at our local meets and we're pretty sure that they painted it Rio (maybe that's why they had such a hard time matching it to the orig? hehe)
