RIP AJR S2000
Incredible! Are people that crazy now or is this just the way it will be from now on ? I can't imagine what happens to Carrerra, BMW 6, etc. convertible owners.
cruise with attitude but don't be too paranoid

Without knowing the real story behind this it looks like the car owner done plssed off someone real bad. The sledge hammer was not needed if he used a home made "napalm" to maintain flame coverage. The hammer shots where salt on the wound type of thing. From the explanation given of how it happened the fire guy was making a statement.
What have we learned kids, be careful who you plss off there are some wacky people out there.

people like that should be taught a HARSH HARSH lesson. like... vigilante style.
this is truly sad and im not taking sides or calling anyone out or anything, but after reading the "eyewitness account" here is what I see:
s2000 is spotted somewhere it isn't normally and the owner is nowhere to be found
s2000 is attacked by a masked person who torches the car
masked person escapes
moments later owner of car reappears
all this is seen by an eye witness who happens to know the driver and the car
is that what I just read? lol
It really does suck though

^ those were my thoughts too, but I wasn't bold enough to say it.
I just know from experience how the insurance will likely view it. They'll think it's just "all too convenient" that it was parked in a strange lot behind a building near a dumpster, etc.

dude that sux whoever was the eye witness should have done something about it.....
IM telling you, this looks like insurance fraud in the making. The story just doesn't make sense.
Friend sees everything, doesn't do anything.
Owner shows up 5 min after the fire
Only eye witness is friends with owner of car

I can speak for probably 98% of the guys here. IF I saw one of my buddies cars getting smashed like that, and I was alone and afraid. You best believe I would go in that bar and grab as many people as I could to bash that guys head in.
Sucks that his insurance will only cover 5G's too. Looks like someone should have done more research on that insurance plan in advance.
