Default Rip in my soft top!

I have almost the exact same tear as this in the same spot (pic I found on here), and it seems to keep getting bigger the more I put the top up and down...

how should I take care of it?

Upholestry shop? DIY? Call Honda and badger them to replace it?

Call Honda first. Setup a case number and schedule a dealership to look at it. They will probably have the district service manager look at it at another time too. Most likely, they will not replace it but who knows, maybe they will if you bitch at them enough. They'll either replace it (unlikely), offer u a 50/50 deal where they cover half the labor/parts costs (but it will still end up almost a grand), or they won't offer anything at all.

If all else fails, an upholstery shop will fix it easily.

since you have a 2003 you are out of warranty, unless you are like me and your 03 was purchased new in 2005. i just had a new top put on under warranty in june. anyway, i would go with a replacement top or just get it patched up if you dont want to spend the money on a brand new top.
