I think that the problem is the the exhaust maker, B&B Triflow, has a better reputation for performance parts than the distributor, RM Racing. People hear RM Racing exhaust, and write it off, when it's actually very nice. I have it, and it not only got me nice HP gains (with the SC) but it sounds very nice, boomy not ricey.

I've got the RM Racing dual exhaust system and I think I have a few pics in the link in my signature. I'm pretty happy with it.

I agree with Wesmaster that the sound is very good ... I personally think it's perfect because it's not high pitched ... it's a nice, low growl that also sounds remarkable at WOT.

And now there are 3 to consider. I too have been hesitant on purchasing a new exhaust mainly for sound reasons. Looking more for a growl than whine. I thought I had it narrowed down to Neuspeed and Comptech, now there is the RM. For the experts, how would you rank these 3. Considering price, performance, sound and looks. I believe the Comptech and RM are in the $1100.00 range where I have found the Neuspeed for about $850.00

I picked up my exhaust used (50 miles) for $500...hard to beat that. For those who haven't heard it before, here's a poor quality sound file I made. Click here for B&B sound file. It sounds even better WOT.

Rm Racing site also has a sound clip that is pretty decent. Maybe that will help ya.

The only drawback to the exhaust to me is the fact that it is clamped on rather than a flange. My friend has
a comptech equipped NSX and he has the RM exhaust and he loves it. I've heard it on the NSX and I have to
admit it sounds really nice, but again that's a 6 cylinder.

Just do what I did. After installing the exhaust. Remove it as one piece and have the socket joints welded and then hit the welds w/ a buffing wheel. It will look great and not leak. Just tell the welder to purge N2 or Argon gas thru the pieces as he welds and they won't "sugar" up on the inside.
