i currently have an 03 subaru WRX with 54k on it. i am wanting to sell it or trade it for an s2000, because i have wanted one for years. i was just offered an 03 rsx type-s for my car. it has 79k on it but the motor was replaced on warranty and has 50k on it. it has buddy club exhaust, tein springs, JDM black headlights, JDM Type r wing, full factory lip kit, and a 7.5" screen he will include.

my question is, would it be smart for me to trade him? im not really interested in keeping the RSX forever, but would it be an easier car to trade for an s2000? or do you guys think i could get more money out of my car than i could the rsx. both cars are in good condition clean tittle, but my wrx needs its front bumper repainted.

why make 2 steps when you can just do it in one? i wouldn't trust a car that has a replacement motor either but that's just me (unless it has full receipts and can prove it was done at a dealer or something)

just sell your wrx and get a s2k. (you prob. wont have to add too much cash either)

well im not really sure, i would rather trade it because it is my only car right now, but i would sell it for $13,500. i think that is about fair for what i have been seeing other go for with similar miles (53k)

I wouldnt do the trade. A modded rsx with a swapped motor will be harder to get rid of for a decent price.

 

ya, thanks for the input.. i think im just going to sell my car and buy an s2000 or find someone wanting to trade.. i hate college and its tuition... if i dont get one before graduation this year im taking my diploma and going to a honda dealership and buying one (in cap and gown) i cant wait any longer
