I hope they boost it before they discontinue it......

I'd love to see something over 320hpr from the factory.......

I'll be the first to trade mine in.

If I wanted to go fast in a straightline I would have bought a Cobra SVT.

Lotus HP to weight doesn't mean squat. When you're driving straight all 240horses or whatever you're putting to the wheels kicks in and let's you go. Consider the fact that the fricking Lotus has 180hp? What a piece of shit.
You have no clue what your talking about. Just look up some of the numbers on a Lotus. A stock GSR is like a 15 sec car, your saying its faster than a low 13 sec car.

Why do you guys thingk RSX's and Integras are ricer cars and a S isnt?

Road & track magazine has reported that the S2000 will be killed in 2006 or 07 with no successor in the pipeline. Does this make the car a future collectable?

Ken
It's a pure sports car from a highly respected manufacturer that carries a great value for the dollar. However, in the big picture over time other manufacturer's have dedicated themselves to really making a name for themselves with their "production" sports cars. Honda has not. In terms of volumes, the S2000 is reaching high numbers even with the low annual output. That works against the supply/demand principal down the road. I think they will always be a nitch car with a serious following but that's as far as it go.

I'm sorry, but a Lotus is way to ugly and underpowered for that much money. A GSR can smoke that thing.
Oh yeah, it looks ugly... in print. I've never had a good opinion of the looks of this car seeing pictures on the web and in magazines. I've seen two of them up close and they look far better when they are sitting in front of you.

Still, $40K+ for a lightweight body and a Celica engine is too rich for my tastes.

I find the new Lotus over-styled for my tastes. I prefer the prior model myself.
