How is the S on long road trips? I just got mine and am planning on going to Colorado for a friend's graduation (about an 8-9 hour drive) in late May...

I drove from NC to PA (500 miles, took about 10 hrs) about a week after I bought my S2000. I thought it was very comfortable. And stress level was higher than it should be since it was raining hard the whole way. . .but no problems from the car.

I've made at least 10+ trips of more than 8-10 hrs. My S2K is better on the body than my Ford Explorer was. My knees don't cramp up in the S. I love that dead pedal.

Yeah, I noticed the comfort of the dead pedal on my trip back to school from home (140 miles). Good to hear that it's a pretty good car for the long haul. And Emil Saint-Hilaire, if I could afford my S2K and an MB I would, but I still have 4 years of med school to knock out before that happens

I've heard some say the seats in the S2000 aren't comfortable for long rides. Personally, I love the seats and have gone on two 400-mile trips without any problem.

have done numerous trips from va beach to chicago, most in an 03, then coming back to va in the 06 after trading the 03 in. it was a much more comfy ride in the 03 cause the seats had plenty of miles on them, the seats in the 06 had only a few hundred, so they were pretty unforgiving. the s2k is an awesome traveling car, and not saying this cause i'm small, i'm 6'0" 235 lbs. i can get a little uncomfy, but going through mountians, or anything thats scenic can make up for it

We do Boise to Sacramento and it's not bad. Sirius radio helps.
