Rock broke AC condenser = Big $ to fix
Drove the car on the freeway this morning and a rock hit the lower front, at first I thought it was a little rock so I didn't really pay any attention to it, but then when I stopped my car, all the sudden I heard some hissing noise from the front, it sounds like it was leaking something, so I check my front tires, both were ok, then I checked the front grill and there it is.... a small hole in the condenser...
I took my car to the dealer and I knew it's gonna cost.... but I didn't realized it gonna cost $900 to fix....
if it was an old car, I will just take it outside to fix it, but since it is still kinda new... I have no choice but to let the dealer fix it..
you guys think it's a fair price?

Do NOT get this done at a dealer. It's just an A/C unit... they can do a BETTER job at a shop that works with A/C all the time. And even if they did screw up, what does it matter? They aren't working on your engine.
I bet you could half that price somewhere else. Some shops will even use better A/C fluids that aren't so eco-friendly. Shop around!

like everone said, it is a ripoff to do it at the dealership!!
but oh well... its in there anyways
if it was a honda specialty part, you would definitly go to the dealership
but in this case, any decent mechanic could have fixed it for alot cheaper
