Default Rock Chips

Just seeing how many chips or cracks there are in the average windshield.

I had a 2001, never got any. But on my 2004 I am on second chip... in about 2 months.

Two that I'm aware of. The larger one is semi-irritating since it's in my line of vision.

Its a windshield, its goint to happen. The S is a little more prone to it because of the angle of our windeshileds. Give it a few years and than look into a bright light or the sun through it. Try to count how many little chips there are than

The chips that I have, was atleast three second back from the car in front of me. Any further back and people start cutting in front of you, here in Dallas.

You know I am going to blame you if I get one in the next 1000 miles since you asked and I said I didn't have any.

Not all the time. I got one from a rock being kicked up by an SUV that was about 7-8 car lengths ahead of me, which I don't consider too close. I've also had rocks hit me from cars who have past me in the left lane. The windshield on the S was designed with such a steep angle that it really gets shwacked when I rock hits it.

I have had vehicles of mine hit by rocks coming off of cars/ trucks going the other way on two lane roads.
