Default rock chips?

I just got my S2000 on thursday and i've noticed a lot of noise from stuff kicking up into the paint. Does everyone experience this? It seems that more stuff kicks up onto this car than any other i've driven. What's the deal?

I think rocks would do more than chip your paint. How about stones? Keep in mind that the tires are softer and stickier, so they will pick up debris easier. Also, to keep the wieght down in the S, there is no sound deadening material in it.

I put Clearshield over my entire front bumper, 12 inches up the hood and fenders in front, along the rocker panel and around the wheel wells. It has done wonders. A lot cheaper than a paint job, and nearly invisible.

I have a similar product covering the nose of my car. Invincashield has a nice kit. You can order the kit and put it on yourself if you have the patience. Contact Speed2000 if your interested. You can hardly see it in any of the pictures I've taken.

I also noticed your name is offroad35. Could this be a reason you have stones flying up on your car?
