roll bar
yeah, i have a sebring '03 w/ red interior. I recently bought my '03. I was looking for information about the s2k roll bar. I was just wondering if it is a good roll bar? Do people ever get after market roll bars put in? the roll bar is behind the seats right?
Elda and Bitterman bar are good choices. Of course, you'll need an aftermarket seat/rails and 5-pt harness if you're interested in safety.
As for the handling--the Evo and S2000 typically smoke everything out there in the slalom.

It's my understanding that there is a structural member in the windshield frame that it intended for protection in the a rollover accident. In addition, there are two roll hoops that are located behind the seats (can't believe you missed these). These hoops are also structural members that are attached to the frame, but they're covered in plactic for asthetic purposes.
I've seen pics of a couple rollover accidents. Most of them I've see where the car is resting on the windshield frame and the nose of the car. I've also seen some pics where the car appears to be resting on the windshield frame, roll hoops, AND the trunk.
While I don't have the source, I've read somewhere on this site that the S2000 is actually safer in rollover accidents than most cars with a fixed roof.
