Why are you getting a roll cage?

I don't think you're really asking about a roll cage.

Did you mean roll bar?

Do you really need to retain the stock roll hoops?

A cage can be fabricated in any configuration you ask for. You can have it placed in the stock hoop position.

i was looking for one so i wont be dead when the car decides to flip, and yeah a stronger roll bar would work.

I didn't find it quickly, but there is a thread dedicated to wrecked S2000 pictures. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how well the stock roll hoops and windshield do.

But I don't have any insight on a roll cage.

You might not know this, but unless you're wearing a helmet, there's a good chance a cage will just bash your head in in an accident. The S2000 actually does very well in the even of rollover.

I have this problem too. Even though the stock roll hoops work my head is still a good 2" above them. In a roll over I would be supporting the whole weight of the car on my head or end up with the same hair dew as my dad.
