Oops, I see that Car Analogy beat me to it with some of the same thoughts.

Sorry, I just don’t get the rolled fender thing. To each their own but to me this is an awesome car as it is. I’d never consider buying one that had this done.

I agree with Chuck etc. I would not be interested in a car that has been modified in this way. I think the impact is that you reduce the pool of potential buyers, perhaps quite significantly, and that will impact value negatively.

I agree with the others. When I was shopping I passed on all S2000’s with rolled or pulled fenders. I didn’t even put a second thought into it. Now if I wanted a dedicated track car, obviously that’s a different thing.

Rolling or pulling the fenders isn’t a basic or reversible mod like changing your shift knob, for example.

Just go enjoy your S2000; drive it, mod it. That's what it's meant for. When people get so concerned about cars as investments, that's when it's not as fun.

To each their own...

I want wheels but I hate rolled fenders, it never fails, you trim the liner and it looks all messed up, or remove them and it totally trashes the fender side wiring harness and headlights. Everything I’ve done is removable, maybe that’ll change one day if I decide to keep it.

I agree with this. If you want to do mods - go head. if not, that is fine too.
But, some people cannot or will not simply disregard the impact the mods have on the value because of their financial condition, or because they are by nature careful with money. Nothing wrong with that either.

I would never buy a car with rolled and pulled fenders. Mainly because I've NEVER seen a roll / pull job that looks good. The bumpers never line up and the fender edges look like junk
