Default Roof clamp loose :-(

My passenger side roof clamp that holds the hook into the windshield is really loose. Not the part thats on the convertible top but the part that is attached to the windshield itself is whats loose. Can someone tell me how to tighten it? I can't tell if its a screw, bolt or if i have to take apart the column piece to get to it.

Thanks

the "wind noise" TSB has an exploded diagram of how to get at these.

Use blue loctite to make sure it doesn't work itself loose again.

this is a common problem. like everyone says, thread lock the screw this time and it would help from coming loose again
