I found a nice charcoal quality bathroom rug and cut it to fit. The backing is heavy enough to keep is situated and you can velcro if that is a problem. Very soft! and no more scratches. $20 at Target. No delivery, no surprises.

When I used to use a towel, before I got the Muz mat, I would just take it out when the roof was up.

A cotton towel in the roof well is NOT attractive and can easily be seen by walker bys. . .

But hey, if the cotton towel works for you, then keep it and stay happy!

Exactly. No one pays attention to whats under your roof well anyways. A towel works, but I never remembered to remove it when top was up! Grr.... Just order a muz mat and WAIT.

I have a brand new still in the box Muz mat in charcoal with charcoal trim. I paid $51.50 plus $5.00 shipping in the group buy. Looks like I won't need it for the '02 glass window. Interested? PM me. Thanks.

Do I get any credit for pushing the perspective buyer?

Beware of the el-cheapo bath mats. Unless they are 100% cottton, they will scratch your rear window as badly as the naked well. Get a Muz mat, its the best and well worth the wait.
