Default Roots style supercharger

Before I get flack on the search thing, I already searched to no avail about this topic. Last track day I heard mention of a roots style supercharge for the S that some European company is making. So far there are none in the states but I'm sure if it exists, someone would be willing to import. Has anyone else heard about this or, even better, have a picture??

there was an s2000 at Tokyo Auto Salon with a roots blower. I think it was made by Ogura.

I'd also be interested in seeing a Roots Type Blower on the S.

But as of now, the only ones avaiable are for RHD S2000's.

I think there was a problem getting it to fit on a LHD s2000. If I remember right one of the vendors had planned on doing it, but I never heard anything coming from it.

After seeing the NSX roots style blower in action I would love to see this happen as well. Like turbo_pwr said there seems to be some fitment issues, but I cannot remember what thread I read this in.

Has anyone ever approached Jackson Racing about producing an SC for the S? I'm not all that familiar with JR, but I understand that they manufacture a number of SC's for the Japanese car aftermarket.

Jackson Racing superchargers don't put out a lot of power. I would be interested to see a roots style blower.

roots style blowers produce more heat, usually quite a bit more. and on an engine running 11:1 compression, more heat is a bad thing.
I wouldn't waste my money on one personally, if i was going to boost an S and wanted more heat, i'd just run a turbo. it's going to make more power.

but it will be interesting to see who starts mass producing one first.

ummm... what do you think a JRSC is if it's not a roots style blower? a twinscrew?
ummmm.
you might want to go do some more reading.
ummmm.... Was refering to the Company making the blowers not the style of their blowers. When you compare theirs to other companies of the same style they tend to produce less power. Thanks I read alot. I is college edumacated.

About Jackson Racing, I heard (rumor only of course) that they have no interest in producing an S2000 supercharger because they don't feel there will be enough volume to justify the development costs. I also heard (rumor again) that they have an exclusive license to sell roots style blowers for Hondas in the US. Is this true? If so, not only will we not see one from JR, we won't see one from anybody else...
