Default roundabout estimate

just trying to figure out how much is average to pay for a respray ? looking at some point to have the car resprayed and just want to figure how much i should be looking to spend for a quality job ?

grandsport auto body was talking about 1200...rough estimate. maaco is around 800-900 ish. are you looking for oem color?

is there any difference between a respray and an actual paint job? If you get a respray of the same oem color to they sand everything down and reprimer? Or do they just paint over the stock color??

I had mine resprayed last week. 1k out the door. They did a great job =) its definitively worth it

I would avoid Maaco like the plague. I ex-GF got her car painted there and we ended up taking it back like 3 times to get all the issues fixed.

just want a respray of the oem color...and yeah i would never go to maaco. and wow 1k isnt bad...i just want to cover up little scratches and rock chips and have a nicer looking paint.

Check out ultimate collision on route 1 (287 and route 1 meet)
They're the best body shop from what I've heard.

EDIT: also try posting on NY metro. local quotes ftw.

i actually live 2 blocks away from ultimate...not a bad place,they always do work on ferraris and porsches so i can only assume i can trust their work haha
