Default Royal Purple or Castro?!

Hey was just wondering what you guys think about for my next oil change. I hear a lot of people (that spoil their car to the max and treat it extremely well) use Royal Purple during the winter and Castro during the summer.

Synthetic oil is synthetic oil but still, lol i need an oil change and dont know what i should go with, maybe even mobil 1?!

im using Castrol EDGE 10w30, it comes in the 5 qt jugs which is convenient..

If it gets really cold by you in the winter, switch to 5w30 or German Castrol 0w30 AKA Castrol SYNTEC 0W

Neither, Mobil1 year round.

Why would you switch brands during the year? I could see viscosity if you are in a cold climate, but brands?
