the better set up would be 17x8 +45 up front and 17x9 +45 in the rear....

17x9 +45 plus 245 or even 255 would be fine, but for front, roll fender is no good enough, you have to pull the lips out a little bit.
But why 17x9.5?

I am running 17x9 +45 245/40/17 all around, with rolled fenders, no problem. But with 17x9.5, you might have to pull your rear fender lips too.

it might be more trouble than its worth... what are you hoping to gain from it? just looks?

I just picked up 17x8 +45 with 225 45 in the front and 17x9 +45 with 255 40 for the rears and it barely clears with my drop. Good luck with whatever you decide to do... hope your not kicking yourself in the @ss later.

I needed to roll the rear slightly... it just barely rubbed trying to take corners faster than I should
