Default RS-R Ran Up Oil Optimizer

First thing I don't believe much in oil/gas optimizer.

I pick-up importtuner magazine and there is a article in page 34. It's a section about fact or fiction where they test product that said to add hp for low a cost.

They test an oil optimizer from rs-r and they tested on a ap1 s2k. They gain 8.1WHP on the dyno.

What do you think about it?

Think about it .... 4% gain in whp by reducing engine friction alone... If it were true every race team in the world would run those products. Seems like ImportTuner will print any BS story to get some advertising dollars.
You can see dyno charts showing the HP difference of Amsoil synthetics at Revsearch; http://www.revsearch.com.

It's measurable.

If it was that good, everyone would know about it, everyone would be using it, and you can bet it would come stock in many "performance" cars - and be well advertised/promoted by them. Even the "economy" cars would use it and advertise it, because this sort of performance, if not used simply to go fast, would translate into increased engine efficiency. Once again, everyone would know about it and use it.

To this and all other similar claims (i.e., too good to be true)
